Thanks to everyone who made this year's Chili Cookoff another success. After last years event we realized that a change of venue was needed to accomodate all the great people who come out and support our department. This years chili cookoff was held in the Community Building at the Monroe County Fairgrounds and the added space was a welcome change. Even with the competition of having the Indiana University Homecoming football game on the same day, we raised close to $1500 for the department's general fund. Thanks again to all those in the community who came out and showed their support, while showing off their cooking skills, and to the firefighters and their families who helped the event run smoothly
