It's Fair Week!! Come out and visit the Monroe County Fair at the Monroe County Fairgrounds from July 22nd-29th. The Monroe County Firefighters Association will have their Fire Safety Trailer out with demonstrations daily on fire safety. Every night a there will be a different fire truck for the public to tour. Wednesday night Van Buren will have one of our engines at the fair and we hope to see you there. The Safety Trailer is located across from the Poultry barns on the west side of the fairgrounds. The fire truck of the night will be stationed next to the Fire Safety Trailer. |
| Flips
Run Registration is going on now for the 3rd annual Flips Run Poker Run. August 12th 2006 motorcyclists will be leaving Van Buren Station 9 on a three county poker run in memory of our fallen brother. Registration is from 9-11 am and costs $20 per person or $30 per couple. Your registration includes a t-shirt, dinner, entertainment and prizes. Click here for Registration forms |
